The Right Whale

Canada – the northern part of Turtle Island sans so-called Alaska – boasts the longest coastline of any country in the world. This northern Native land spans the Arctic, Atlantic and Pacific oceans. And these coastal ecosystems contribute directly to the cultural identity and economic prosperity of many Canadian communities, most of all Indigenous peoples across Turtle Island. Coasts convene some of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. However, increased industrial activity has made seascapes louder and lousier for many of those marine mammals and fishes, endangering whales and whale sharks and so on.
